How Your Donation Helps

$100.00 covers all the costs of providing one night of shelter for a survivor of domestic or sexual violence

$25.00 can help replace ID cards and birth certificates for victims who had to leave important documents behind, or whose documents were destroyed or stolen.

$58.00 allows Cedar Valley Friends of the Family to purchase 250 lbs of food from the Northeast Iowa Food bank

$250-$400 can provide a month of rental and utility assistance to someone who is struggling to maintain or afford housing.

Every dollar donated for the housing programs results in $6.00 of government funds coming into Northeast Iowa to provide homeless programming. This sustains over 45  households in Northeast Iowa and helps move them towards independence and self-sufficiency.

Whether you are interested in supporting violence prevention, homeless programming, or emergency shelter and housing for victims of domestic and sexual violence, your donation makes a huge impact on individuals and families in our communities.
